This sea salt is produced on the Pacific Coast, in Hawaii around the island of Molokai, where a long tradition gives the salt a strong symbolic link to nature, associating it with colours linked to the elements: volcanic earth, luxuriant vegetation, water from the Pacific Ocean0 In the basins where this salt is produced, a bamboo leaf extract is added to the seawater, which gives the salt this typical pale green colouring, as well as its unique and subtle flavour.
