Freezing temperatures, wind, sleet, or snow are not an issue with the Yoder Smokers insulating thermal jacket, creating true efficiency during those colder winter months. Each jacket is designed with five-layer thermal construction to prevent heat loss that occurs as the temperature outside begins to drop, and therefore reducing pellet usage. Insulating the body of the cooking chamber, the thermal jacket is ideal for smoking temperatures of 300F and below. We recommend removing the three-piece thermal jacket for those cooks above 300F, as it was specifically designed for smoking temperature ranges.

Yoder Smokers YS640 Grease Shield This grease shield keeps salt, acid, and grease off of the front of your Yoder Smokers YS640 series pellet grill. Salt and acid are corrosive to the paint and grease just creates a sticky mess. The grease shield fits onto the front of your cooker and catches these substances before they can cause problems for you. Fixed on the back side of the shield is a high temperature Nomex material which reduces metal to metal contact. A removable rubber plug will hold these materials in the shield until you're ready to remove it and clean it out. Simple, attractive, and effective! Features:
